Please bring your application and a state issued ID with you when you come to meet our pups.
If you choose to foster a dog you will need to either return or legally adopt the dog.
We can and will take legal action for ny dog that is fostered and not returned or adopted.
The adoption donation can be made via Cash, Check or Venmo @alphadogrescue

Foster a dog or puppy
Fostering a dog can be very rewarding for you and the dog. We will provide everything you need to give the dog a temporary home and some time away from the shelter.
Adoption rates are much higher for fostered dogs as they are happier, more relaxed and learning more everyday!
Adopt a dog or puppy
Adopting a dog or puppy is a lifetime commitment with lots of love, tail wags and can really enrich your life.
If you do not have time to dedicate to training a dog or housebreaking a puppy, please consider adopting a dog as 99% of the time they are housebroken, have basic training and are very, very appreciative of having a home and people that love them.
Field Trips for 1 hour or 1 day, your choice.
NEW for 2024
Take a field trip with a wonderful dog or puppy. It can be an hour or a sleepover. Go for a walk, swim, hike, watch a movie, go to a pet friendly store, enjoy a companion in the car. The choices are endless and the pet you take on a field trip will show you lots of love!
It has been proven that dogs that have more interactions with people get adopted sooner as they are happier and usually better behaved.
BEWARE OF UNSAFE ORAL FLEA & TICK MEDICATIONS
We are STRONG advocates and need to warn all dog owners to avoid these POTENTIALLY FATAL products.
MIXED BREED DOGS ARE JUST THAT!
Most all of our rescue dogs go by the name of Supermutt. Mutts or mixed-breed dogs are dogs that do not belong to one officially recognized breed and including those that are the result of intentional breeding and most have no known purebred ancestors.
Although there are dog DNA tests, we as experts find most to be bogus so just love them as they are!
